Daniela Duek on Life with a Wealthy Husband: "I Don't Apologize for Anything"

She rejects public judgment surrounding the use of paid help and a high standard of living. From her perspective, financial ability is a legitimate tool for improving quality of life, and the discourse surrounding this is tainted with hypocrisy.
She shares that for her, "I do not apologize for anything," and says that anyone who had the financial ability to bring in help with a child would do it:
"It is super-hypocritical to say 'I won't bring a helper.' The fact that I have a nanny does not make me a less good mother."
In an interview with Israel Hayom, she shares that the criticism regarding money and wealth accompanies her at every turn: "People love to be envious. It started with the move to Dubai, then moved to the wedding, and then to the story of the child and the nanny. But over time, I developed thick skin."
One of the central topics that arises in the discourse around her is the stigma that the motive for the relationship with her husband, Ori, is financial. Ori, her husband, is considered a wealthy man who lives in Dubai and does not apologize for his lifestyle either. Daniela clarifies that the relationship is based on love and appreciation for his inner self, and notes that the two even laugh at the rumors. However, she is not ashamed of the fact that she loves and seeks financial well-being:
"When Ori hears about this, he gets offended. He says to me, 'What, am I ugly? Does everyone think you are with me only because of the money?'"
A wedding on the scale they had required enormous financial resources and a massive production, which, according to her, stemmed from a shared aspiration of hers and her husband's to realize a childhood dream, once they had the financial ability to do so. The glittering event included particularly expensive elements (such as 12,000 white roses in a special greenhouse, a philharmonic orchestra, and a performance by Omer Adam), but alongside the heavy financial investment, the event also suffered from financial losses and weather damage.
