Daniel Peretz started in goal for Southampton in a friendly match against the German side Preußen Münster. The Israeli goalkeeper conceded a goal that left him no chance, but his team managed to get back into the game with a goal from Leo Sijnza, and in the 89th minute, Lewis Dobbin completed the turnaround to set a dramatic 1:2 score. Peretz and his teammates will open the season in two weeks in a match against Watford.
