Israeli Cybersecurity Unicorn Cyera Eyes $20 Billion Valuation in New Funding
Israeli cybersecurity firm Cyera is reportedly negotiating a $20 billion valuation, surging 66% in under six months following recent expansions and major backing from Goldman Sachs and top venture funds.

Israeli cybersecurity unicorn Cyera is reportedly in talks with investors to raise capital at a valuation of $20 billion, marking a staggering 66% surge in under six months, according to tech publication The Information.
Discussions are currently in the early stages. Back in June, during a $600 million funding round, Cyera was valued at $12 billion. The round was later expanded in September after Goldman Sachs poured an additional $400 million into the company, pushing Cyera's total fundraising to $2.7 billion. The firm's cap table features major venture capital funds operating in Israel, including Lightspeed, Sequoia, Accel, Greenoaks, Georgian, Sapphire, Coatue, Redpoint, Spark Capital, and local Cyberstarts.
Founded in 2021 by CEO Yotam Segev, VP of R&D Jonathan Itai, and CTO Tamar Bar-Ilan—all alumni of the elite Talpiot program and Unit 8200—Cyera counts global giants such as Paramount, Chipotle, and Valvoline among its clients. Since its inception, the company has focused on enterprise data security.
Over the past year, Cyera expanded its portfolio into securing AI agents and regulating their access to corporate data and systems. These capabilities provide organizations with visibility and control over the data exposed to AI agents and the actions they execute. Furthermore, the acquisition of Oasis Security, a specialist in non-human identity management and security, integrates a vital protective layer into Cyera's platform, enabling multinational corporations to centrally manage access rights for humans, systems, and AI agents alike.
