1. Believing in partnerships: The new move by the Av-Gad company

Av-Gad and the Barak Finance group are establishing a joint subsidiary called "Av-Gad Ba-Ir," which will specialize in urban renewal projects in the center of the country. In the first stage, it will take on 24 projects that Av-Gad is already promoting. As part of the move, Barak Finance will hold 49% of the shares in the new company in exchange for an investment of about 49 million shekels. In addition, it will pay Av-Gad Ba-Ir about 4 million shekels for project promotion expenses incurred by the parent company Av-Gad until the end of June 2026.

Heading the company will be Shai Mimoni, currently CEO of Barak Nofech Urban Renewal, and Oded Ratzon, currently the chief engineer of Av-Gad, who will serve as co-CEOs subject to board approval and approval within Av-Gad Holdings.

This move joins a deal signed by Av-Gad earlier this month with America Israel, owned by Alon Stauber and Shimshon Harel, in which the two became partners in the Krinizi project in Ramat Gan. America Israel invested about 21 million shekels for 49% of the project. Earlier this year, in January, the company completed a partnership deal with the Sponder-Padlon company for the Eli Cohen project in Tel Mond - and then too, it involved about 21 million shekels for 49% of the project.

According to Adv. Raam Ratzon, CEO of Av-Gad, the move represents "another stage in the company's strategic development. Together with Barak Finance, we are establishing a dedicated platform for promoting and planning small and medium-sized building renewal projects in the heart of high-demand areas with high profitability, whose groundbreaking date is relatively close. During this time, Av-Gad will be able to focus on large-scale Pinui-Binui projects across the country."

Barak Finance Group defines itself as a home for wealth management and financial growth, operating in the worlds of real estate, investments, and finance. For it, the move expresses the next stage in the growth strategy it has built for itself: expanding operations into the worlds of development and execution as well.

2. Israel mobilizes

Bank Hapoalim donated about half a million shekels to operate a community and cultural project at Hermon Square in Kiryat Shmona, which suffered significant damage following the war. As part of the move, a community space, a cafe, and a shared workspace were established under the name "Mona," and a series of cultural events will be produced on Thursdays alongside a local night market. The move is being carried out in cooperation with the "HaHalutz" association, which specializes in operating urban spaces and community activities.

3. Marketing

Samsung Israel is investing in promoting the new foldable smartphones with a web series and a fashion campaign. First, four new sketches were uploaded in the web series "Who did you call a boomer?!", starring Naomi Levov, Meirav Feldman, and Einat Holland, and directed by Erez Ben Harush. Let us recall that the first episodes were uploaded close to the launch last summer and recorded about 12 million views on social networks.

In addition, the company collaborated with Terminal X from the Fox group and created a campaign that will air on television, digital, social networks, and the fashion company's website. This is alongside a dedicated benefit for Samsung customers in the Members app.

4. New appointments

Lior Levi Gilor, 48, was appointed CEO of Amanat, which specializes in consulting and project management. Previously, she served as CEO of Sisnat Software.

Guy Kellner was appointed CEO of the Israel Incoming Tour Operators Association, replacing Yossi Fatael, who is retiring after 11 years in the position. Currently, Kellner serves as Deputy CEO of the Rishon LeZion municipal company, and previously served as Chairman of Issta.
