Criticism in the Islamic Jihad regarding the second phase: "Israel continues the war"

The terrorist organization claimed that the escalation in the Gaza Strip continued even after the announcement of the transition formula. According to them, the agreement is incapable of "restraining Israel" and the mediators are required to compel it to implement the first phase in full.

Criticism within the Palestinian Islamic Jihad regarding the agreement on the second phase of the ceasefire deal in Gaza: The terrorist organization linked to the Iranian regime declared this morning that "the aggressive escalation in the Gaza Strip exposes the seriousness of any agreement to stop the war and end the aggression. The escalation and aggression did not stop in the hours following the announcement of the transition formula for the second phase of the ceasefire agreement. Israel continues the war and the clear escalation in front of all parties, including the mediators."

In the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, they further emphasized:

"The escalation and violations of the ceasefire agreement strengthen the conviction that the agreement and the proposed formula are incapable of restraining Israel and stopping the brutal war against our people everywhere, and especially in the Gaza Strip."

It was also noted that "this escalation places all parties before their responsibilities and tests the seriousness in compelling Israel to the conditions of the first phase, especially since everyone agrees that there will be no transition to any step before the full implementation of the first phase, including the cessation of attacks, killing, destruction, and targeted killings."

Yesterday (Friday), Hamas announced that its consent to the storage of "heavy weapons" by the technocratic committee is conditional upon its entry into the Gaza Strip, the cessation of attacks, the withdrawal of the IDF from the Gaza Strip, the dismantling of the militias that assisted Israel, the reconstruction process of the Strip, and the "guarantee of the right to self-determination in the establishment of an independent Palestinian state," according to the terrorist organization's statement.
