Injuries were reported during clashes in the Hebron area today, Saturday. Palestinians claimed that settlers attacked young people, smashed a car window, and surrounded worshippers at a mosque east of the town of Idna, while IDF forces were present at the scene. Additionally, heavy damage was reported to a house in the village of Khalayil al-Luz south of Bethlehem, alongside the uprooting of 110 olive trees and vandalism of residents' property in the village of Deir Sharaf near Nablus.
The IDF stated that forces were dispatched to the outskirts of Idna following reports of friction between Israeli citizens and Palestinians. Regarding footage showing Israelis beating a Palestinian while a soldier places his knee on the man's stomach, the IDF confirmed that the incident and the conduct of the forces are currently under investigation.
In a separate clash in Wadi Rahim near the settlement of Susya, four Palestinians were injured—one by gunfire and three others from beatings. According to settlers, stones were thrown at a shepherd who had left a farm with his herd. The Palestinian news agency Wafa reported that settlers beat residents and fired into the air. It is claimed that seven Palestinians were arrested by IDF soldiers during the incident. According to the Palestinians, they were arrested after being removed from the mosque amidst the use of live fire, stun grenades, and gas.
