Coral Simanovich in her first interview ahead of the move: "I am still in shock"
Supermodel and businesswoman Coral Simanovich shared her thoughts on the challenges of moving to the USA, the stress, and her future plans as she prepares for a major life transition with her family.
Supermodel, businesswoman, and entrepreneur Coral Simanovich was the guest of honor at the launch of the Castro chain's holiday collection, held on a yacht at the Tel Aviv marina. Simanovich shared her feelings ahead of the coming period: "The truth is I only arrived yesterday. I had a crazy summer with a lot of changes, and very big moves are ahead of us. I am excited, but now that I am here, I feel a bit calm before a very intense September."
When asked about her upcoming plans, she detailed: "My birthday is in three days, followed by my twins' birthday, my brother's wedding, and then the move to Los Angeles. It's crazy." The move to the US follows the signing of her husband, footballer Sergi Roberto, with the Italian club Como, which will be followed by their relocation to the States.
Asked how one prepares for such a shake-up, Coral admitted: "I have no idea! I am still in shock. I spent the whole month packing: first moving everything from Italy back to Barcelona, and now from Barcelona to Los Angeles. And all this with four children and a dog." On dealing with the pressure, she added: "I think I have gained experience over the years. Knowing how to function under pressure has become part of me. It is very hard, but I am managing."
Alongside her modeling career, Simanovich manages the luxury jewelry brand "NoCo Fine Jewelry" with her sister. "It's our baby," she said, showing off her pieces. "I don't see myself without jewelry; it's the accessory that flatters a woman the most. My husband also wears NoCo jewelry, and I love it." Regarding roles, she noted: "My sister handles more of the behind-the-scenes since she lives here, while I focus on marketing, design, and customer relations."
Offering advice to entrepreneurs, Coral emphasized the importance of having a good partner and being patient. Regarding building a team, she believes trust is built slowly: "You need to see that a person loves the brand just as you do, and that they aren't just there for the job." In conclusion, as a graduate of the Shenkar fashion design school, Simanovich shared her future aspirations: "In 10 years, God willing, you might see me with my own clothing brand. It's what I studied and love. Who knows, maybe it will be a collaboration with Castro? I really love their style."
