A United Nations committee has released a report alleging that Israel continues committing genocide in the Gaza Strip despite the ceasefire that came into effect in October 2025. The panel also accused Israeli security forces of crimes against humanity in the West Bank, citing unverified claims of torture and sexual violence.

According to the report, Israeli military operations expanded in Gaza following the truce, increasing territorial control from 53 percent to 60 percent. The committee stated that at least 196 Palestinians were killed during this period, including 18 women, 32 boys, and 11 girls. The document further claimed that prison guards and soldiers committed war crimes in the West Bank, documenting six alleged cases of sexual violence against male detainees from Gaza at the Sde Teiman military facility.

Associated Press reported that independent verification of these severe allegations, particularly regarding sexual assaults against female detainees, was not possible. Israel strongly condemned the publication, calling for the dissolution of the committee and describing the findings as a false campaign aimed at demonizing the state and criminalizing its existence.

Meanwhile, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk raised concerns regarding IDF operations in Hebron, warning of potential ethnic cleansing. Türk stated that collective threats and actions intended to empty entire neighborhoods violate international law.
