Like a superstar: Roni Duani's big celebration, 20 years later

Last Thursday, family, friends, and a devoted community of fans, some of whom have been with Roni for 20 years, gathered for a unique and nostalgic show by Roni "Superstar" Duani. In the audience, one could find young people alongside older adults, mostly those over 27, who came for an evening of big hits, nostalgia, and a lot of love for the first pop princess born here.

She who was once called the "Israeli Britney Spears" proves that "stopping" is not necessarily a negative word. After building herself, her sweet family, and her professional career as a businesswoman, she returns to the forefront — and this time from a completely different place.

The "Superstar" evening included the mega-hits that shaped the early 2000s: "Superstar", "Adoni", "Sukariya", "Motek", and more. But Duani does not settle for just nostalgia. She continues to create, reinvent herself, and prove that returning to the stage is not just another sad story about a star whose train has already left; on the contrary, "Superstar" proves that she is still a pop star. And her fans? They still remember all the words.

And if the big hits were not enough, Duani was wise enough to invite to the stage the one who was her teacher in her childhood — the respected singer Gal De Paz.
