A couple residing in France purchased an apartment of approximately 50 sq. m in the "Migdal Kramim" project by Moshav in Jerusalem for their daughter, who plans to immigrate to Israel and study at the Hebrew University. Alongside the proximity to family, the buyers explained that the rising antisemitism in France strengthened their desire to hold property in Israel.
A 2.2 million shekel deal has been finalized for a two-room apartment in Jerusalem: a couple of foreign residents from France purchased a unit in the "Migdal Kramim" project by the Moshav company, currently under construction on the border of the Beit HaKerem and Kiryat Moshe neighborhoods.
The apartment, with an area of 49.6 sq. m plus a sun balcony of about 3.9 sq. m, is located on the fourth floor and faces south. An underground parking space is also included in the transaction. The price reflects approximately 44.4 thousand shekels per sq. m, calculated based on the apartment area alone.
Behind the deal is a personal story: the buyers intend the apartment for their daughter, who plans to immigrate to Israel and study at the Hebrew University. Her grandparents already reside in Jerusalem. According to the couple, beyond family needs, they sought to establish a real estate "anchor" in Israel against the backdrop of rising antisemitism in France.
"Migdal Kramim" is being built along the light rail line, at the intersection of Farbstein and Mordechai Ish-Shalom streets. As part of the urban renewal project, two residential buildings containing 32 old apartments were demolished. In their place, a 32-story tower is being constructed, featuring 130 housing units, alongside commercial spaces and public facilities. The project was designed by the Tito Oman Architects firm.
