Celebration at Ben Gurion Airport: African airline returns to Israel with fares from $294

The flight schedule at Ben Gurion Airport continues to change daily, bringing positive news to the public. While some foreign airlines remain cautious and delay their return, others are announcing the resumption of routes to Israel.

Air Seychelles was originally scheduled to return to Israel as early as last May, about two weeks after the conclusion of Operation "Lion's Roar." However, last-minute changes occurred, and the company did not resume regular operations. In June, the airline officially announced it would not operate the popular direct route between Tel Aviv and Mahe before August 5th, citing "regional instability" as the reason for the disappointing decision.

On Thursday, the return finally took place, bringing a sense of relief to Ben Gurion Airport. After nearly 5 months of suspended operations, the airline has resumed flights to Israel. At this stage, the company is offering 2 daily flights on the Tel Aviv-Mahe route, with 2 flights per day in the opposite direction for 5 days a week. Ticket prices start from $294 per person one way.

Hours of waiting turned into a nightmare for tens of thousands of passengers, with landings completely halted during peak hours.
