Tel Aviv District Police Commander, Nitzav Haim Sargrof, has taken the unusual step of dismissing the Holon station commander, Superintendent Eliad Lankri, from his position. The police announced the decision on Tuesday. According to police sources, the move came "following professional and managerial failures discovered in the station's functioning."

According to the official statement, the decision was made after an inspection conducted within the district, during which "deficiencies were raised regarding, among other things, the station's work plan, its conduct, and the functioning of the station commander." Sources in the Tel Aviv District emphasized that "the decision was made on professional grounds only."

The Israel Police stated: "In light of gaps and professional failures that arose in the station at the managerial level, the Tel Aviv District Commander, Nitzav Haim Sargrof, recommended the immediate termination of the Holon station commander's role."
