According to the data, over 2 billion shekels were donated worldwide through Charidy campaigns in the year 5786, representing a 5% increase compared to the donation amounts collected in the year 5785. A total of 1,820,729 donors participated in campaigns worldwide this year, a figure similar in scale to the approximately 1.8 million donors recorded the previous year.
Significant activity was also recorded in Israel. During the year 5786, 340 million shekels were raised in campaigns within Israel, with the participation of 509,793 donors. The number of donors in Israel rose by nearly 10% compared to the year 5785, during which about 467,000 donors participated in campaigns.
Leading Campaigns and Largest Individual Donations

Unusual amounts were also recorded in the single-donation sector. The largest single donation globally stood at 375,000 shekels and was given to the Shalom Rav yeshiva. In Israel, the largest single donation stood at 108,000 shekels and was donated to benefit a charity center.
