Two security guards were lightly injured and 12 residents from the southern region were arrested following a mass brawl; the water park has been closed. The incident reportedly stemmed from a dispute between vacationers and lifeguards.

A mass brawl broke out at a popular summer leisure spot in the center of the country: two security guards were lightly injured on Saturday during an incident at Yamit 2000 in Holon, and 12 suspects were arrested. Footage of the brawl, published by Daniel Amram, shows chairs being thrown near one of the pools. Police officers from the Holon and Tel Aviv District arrived at the scene around 15:00 following reports of the disturbance. According to preliminary information, the brawl involved dozens of people and was sparked by a confrontation between lifeguards and a group of vacationers, possibly over a request to turn down the music. Security guards intervened following the initial dispute, and two of them sustained injuries. The 12 suspects, all residents of the southern region, were taken to the Holon police station for questioning. The water park was closed to visitors, and police have stated that the incident is being treated as a criminal matter.
