CAS to Rule on Senegal and Morocco African Football Saga by November
The Court of Arbitration for Sport announced that a final decision regarding Senegal's appeal over the African Cup title stripped in favor of Morocco will arrive by November.

More than eight months after the Confederation of African Football appeals committee stripped Senegal of its continental title and awarded a technical victory to Morocco, the saga is far from over.
The Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne announced on Sunday that a final decision on Senegal's appeal is expected by the end of November. The hearing took place behind closed doors on October 8.
"CAS judges have decided to issue a final reasoned award," the headquarters in Switzerland stated. The scandal stems from the January 18 final in Rabat, where Senegal initially defeated Morocco 1-0 after extra time following chaotic scenes.
Morocco subsequently appealed to CAF, and on March 17 was declared the winner, leading Senegal to take the case to CAS, alleging administrative injustice.
