Carrefour slashes prices: popular food products starting from 2.90 shekels
Ahead of the holidays, the retail giant is launching unprecedented promotions on fruits, vegetables, and popular staple products, with prices cut by dozens of percent, including canola oil for only 9.90 shekels and a range of other popular items.
Carrefour is announcing a special promotion starting tomorrow (Tuesday) called "Market Tuesday," during which fruits and vegetables will be sold at rock-bottom prices. As part of the offer, watermelon will cost 2.90 shekels per kg, while onions, white cabbage, and beets will be sold at 3.90 shekels per kg.
In addition, the chain is offering packaged potatoes at 4.90 shekels per kg, and pomegranates will cost 9.90 shekels. Furthermore, customers will be able to purchase Gala potatoes at 11.90 shekels per kg, white grapes at 13.90 shekels per kg, and peaches at 14.90 shekels per kg.
Parallel to the weekly "Market Tuesday" promotion, Carrefour is announcing price reductions on popular consumer goods ahead of Rosh Hashanah. For example, a bottle of refined canola oil from the "Etz HaZait" company will be sold for 9.90 shekels instead of 16.10 shekels.
A package of pizza snacks from the "Maadanot" brand will cost 19.90 shekels instead of 38.30 shekels. A pack of soda water from the "Tempo" brand is sold for 11.90 shekels instead of 20.30 shekels, and tahini made from 100% pure sesame from the "Baraka" brand is available for 9.90 shekels instead of 16.20 shekels.
Additionally, a bottle of mayonnaise from the long-standing "Telma" company is sold for 8.50 shekels instead of 13.30 shekels. Soy and oat drinks from the "Tnuva Alternative" brand are priced at 7.90 and 8.90 shekels respectively, while canned corn from the "Yakhin" brand will cost 5.90 shekels instead of 10.90 shekels.
