The Jerusalem District Prosecutor's Office files an indictment against Liel Ifargan for the murder of 7-year-old Hallel Dadon and the serious wounding of another child in Beit Shemesh.

The Jerusalem District Prosecutor's Office will file an indictment this morning at the Jerusalem District Court against Liel Ifargan for the murder of 7-year-old Hallel Dadon in Beit Shemesh.
Two weeks ago, Israel Police permitted the publication of new details from the investigation into the violent incident. According to the investigation, Ifargan, who lives nearby, arrived at the apartment complex hours before the murder, spoke briefly with the homeowner, and returned home.
Hours later, the suspect returned to the apartment. Spotting the children playing in a yard pool, he attacked them with a sharp object. Seven-year-old Hallel Dadon was fatally stabbed, while a 4-year-old cousin was seriously injured. The suspect was arrested shortly after and transferred to the Jerusalem Police undercover unit.
