Israeli Woman Escapes Armed Roadway Ambush in Southern Israel
An Israeli woman narrowly escaped an armed assault near the Beit Kama Junction after a motorist blocked her vehicle and pointed a gun at her. Police have launched an investigation into the incident.

Leshem Feingold experienced a terrifying ordeal when an armed assailant targeted her vehicle near the Beit Kama Junction in southern Israel. Driving home with her young son, Feingold noticed a car tailing her aggressively before blocking her path and pointing a firearm at her.
Recounting the incident, Feingold described the horrifying moments as she realized she was being cornered. "Everything happened so fast, it felt like an eternity," she said in a morning television interview. Spotting police officers stationed at a nearby gas station, she managed to swerve and escape to safety just as the suspect brandished a pistol.
Her young son was asleep in the back seat during the incident. "I even woke him up because I thought if we were going to die, I wanted him to hold my hand," she shared. Police and Border Police forces present at the station quickly intervened and calmed her down, though Feingold expressed frustration over an insensitive remark made by an officer questioning her decision to drive on that major road at night.
Local authorities confirmed that an official complaint was filed, and an active police investigation is underway to apprehend the suspects.
