Israeli Startup Baz Secures $9 Million in Funding for AI Code Security Tool
Serial entrepreneur Guy Eisenkot unveiled an AI-powered code security tool by his startup Baz at a US conference, alongside securing $9 million in new funding.
Guy Eisenkot, serial entrepreneur and son of former IDF Chief of Staff and Yashar! party leader Gadi Eisenkot, continues to make waves in the tech sector. At an artificial intelligence conference in the United States, Eisenkot unveiled a new product from his startup Baz: an innovative AI-powered tool that audits code and identifies security vulnerabilities before the code is even saved to the system.
Founded in 2023 by Eisenkot and Nimrod Kor, both alumni of Unit 8200, Baz has previously outperformed major global competitors. The company now announces an additional $9 million funding round, adding to the $8 million raised last year.
Eisenkot previously solidified his market reputation after selling a previous startup to Palo Alto Networks in a massive $200 million deal just two years after its inception. Now, within another two years, the serial entrepreneur is showcasing a new product alongside substantial capital raised for his latest venture.
This new development offers an advanced solution to information security challenges in software development. Combining artificial intelligence with real-time vulnerability detection places the Israeli startup at the technological forefront and reinforces Eisenkot's status as one of the most prominent entrepreneurs in the global tech industry.
