The new season of the culinary reality show 'Chef Games' is set to air soon on Reshet 13, and the atmosphere in the local culinary scene is already heating up. During an interview ahead of the premiere, the judges displayed a confident and relaxed approach. Chef Yonatan Roshfeld, returning to the spotlight, noted that the participants share a strong desire to work together to create an enjoyable and successful production.
During the broadcast, host Guy Lerer directed a pointed question to Chef Guy Gamzo, who has just joined the program. Lerer asked how Gamzo handles the pressure of working alongside veteran figures like Asaf Granit and Yonatan Roshfeld. Gamzo was unfazed, clarifying that he feels no threat from their status, viewing them instead as close friends and professional partners who will each bring a unique style to the screen.
'I don't have anyone over my head. Asaf Granit is a colleague whom I appreciate, and he is a very good friend. The same goes for Roshfeld—we are colleagues, and everyone will bring their own touch to the screen.'
The highlight of the interview, however, came when Roshfeld decided to turn his fire openly toward the competing program on the rival channel. He took a jab at the format of Keshet 12, clarifying that, in his opinion, the advantage this season lies entirely with Reshet. Roshfeld added a direct reference to the competitors from Channel 12:
'Do you know who is going to be pathetic? Master Chef. What can you do? You have to tell the truth this year.'
