Victor Osimhen may become one of the hottest names in the final weeks of the transfer window. According to a report in "CaughtOffside", Tottenham has already submitted an initial offer of about 60 million euros for the Nigerian striker, but it was rejected by Galatasaray.

At the same time, "Sport" reported that Barcelona is aware that Osimhen could be acquired for about 75 million euros, but his high salary is a significant obstacle. The striker earns about 15 million euros net per season, in addition to bonuses, and also holds all of his image rights. According to the report, without a significant reduction in his salary, the deal would be too expensive for the Catalans, but the player has never agreed to consider a pay cut.

The 27-year-old striker has maintained an impressive scoring ability throughout his career. After starring in Serie A for Napoli, he continued to show high performance at Galatasaray, which he joined after a difficult period in Italy. However, according to the report, the Nigerian's volatile character made him a complex figure in the locker room, which ultimately led him to play in Turkey despite his status as one of the top strikers in the world.

In recent days, reports have circulated about tax disputes between Osimhen and Galatasaray, and it was also claimed that he gave up the captain's armband. These developments may indicate the possibility of a change in direction in his career. Tottenham continues to look for a top central striker, but is expected to face competition from other clubs if the player does indeed become available. Atletico Madrid also explored the possibility of signing him, but withdrew due to high salary demands. At Barcelona, at least at this stage, the option is not on the table.

It was further noted that Osimhen is not expected to return to Italy, as his contract includes a clause that makes it difficult to sell him to a Serie A team and requires Galatasaray to pay Napoli compensation of 70 million euros in such a case.
