Bank Leumi App Now Available in Five Languages
Bank Leumi has launched a five-language mobile app supporting Hebrew, English, Arabic, Russian, and French, accompanied by a new advertising campaign starring Gal Toren.

Bank Leumi, led by CEO Hanan Friedman, has announced that its mobile application is now available in five different languages: Hebrew, English, Arabic, Russian, and French. As part of this initiative, customers can easily select their preferred language within the app, providing a more accessible and efficient digital banking experience.
Extended Digital Banking Services
Among the transactions and services available across these languages are checking account balances in both shekels and foreign currency, ordering credit cards and checkbooks, making multi-currency transfers, ZAHAV (RTGS) wire transfers, foreign exchange conversions, opening deposits, and taking out loans. The bank noted that additional services and features will be added to these languages in the near stage.
To promote the new update, Bank Leumi launched an advertising campaign featuring actor and musician Gal Toren. In a series of comedic sketches, Toren highlights everyday social situations familiar to new immigrants, contrasting the challenges of navigating Israeli culture with the seamless ease of using the Bank Leumi app in five native languages. The advertising campaign was handled by the McCann Tel Aviv agency.
That’s what I call service.
Campaign Insights and Strategy
Bank representatives explained that the campaign stems from a simple insight: many Israelis frequently speak languages other than Hebrew, even after living in the country for many years. The core challenge of the project was turning a purely functional digital upgrade into a human, humorous, and relatable campaign that highlights financial inclusion and ease of use.
