Azealia Banks Relocates to Tel Aviv and Debuts New Material Live
American hip-hop artist Azealia Banks has relocated to Tel Aviv, collaborating with local producer Yinon Yahel and delivering an electrifying live performance.

Azealia Banks, one of the most volatile and provocative figures in American hip-hop, has made an unexpected move by relocating to Tel Aviv. Known in recent years for her unpredictable stances, Banks has taken her fascination with the region a step further, entering the local studio with producer Yinon Yahel to work on a new project.
Performing live in Tel Aviv, Banks delivered an electrifying set that drew hundreds of fans eager to disconnect from reality. Opening acts included local artist Becky (Rivka Lakiya) and Brooklyn rapper Kosa Dillz, setting an intense tone before Banks took the stage in a striking nude and earth-toned bodysuit adorned with pearls and puffed smoked-pink lace sleeves.
Opening her performance with 'YEHUDI', a track produced by Yinon Yahel referencing Israeli pop culture, Golda Meir, and local political figures, Banks showcased her unique and abrasive interpretation of Israeli identity. Comparing herself to Harlem's Gal Gadot, she blended raw rap delivery with local references, culminating in an energetic run of tracks including 'Treasure Island' and her breakthrough hit '212'.
Refusing to pander to conventional expectations, Banks exited the stage abruptly without an encore following a high-energy hour of music. The performance cemented her bizarre yet compelling chapter in Israel, offering fans a sweat-soaked escape from ongoing regional tensions.
