American rapper Azealia Banks has arrived in Israel for a surprise visit, spending time with influencer Yochai Twina ahead of her upcoming Tel Aviv concert.
Unexpected celebrity crossovers are making waves online as American rapper Azealia Banks landed in Israel and was spotted spending quality time with local social media personality Yochai Twina.
Twina revealed that the two have known each other since last year, noting that this time Banks initiated the meeting by sending him a direct message. In a series of videos shared on social media, the duo was seen cruising together in a car and going on a shopping spree at a clothing store. Twina tagged the rapper, described their unexpected meetup as random, and humorously added that she keeps leaving him breathless.
Banks's relationship with Israel has seen sharp and complex turns in the past. She previously vowed never to set foot in the country, later performed in Tel Aviv draped in an Israeli flag with a Star of David necklace, and last March launched a harsh verbal attack against the state and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Now, it seems Banks's turbulent romance with the Israeli audience is taking another intriguing turn. Her current visit comes ahead of her scheduled performance at the Tel Aviv Amphitheatre on October 8, alongside working in local studios on her new album with Israeli producer Yinon Yahel.
