Azar shared on his Instagram story that he returned to watch Christopher Nolan's film "The Odyssey" for the second time. According to him, this time he watched it with his husband, architect Albert Escolà, after his initial solo viewing caused a surprising reaction.
"Albert wanted a divorce after he found out I went to the movie without him," Azar wrote jokingly.
Eventually, the couple rectified the situation and watched the cinematic work together. Azar noted that the second viewing was even more meaningful: "To my surprise, I enjoyed it more than the first time. This time I teared up; in the previous one, I just stared at the screen."
At the end of his post, Azar made an amusing calculation, noting that he had already dedicated six hours of his life to the film and estimating that the number would soon grow to nine, hinting at yet another viewing.
"The Odyssey," Christopher Nolan's new film based on Homer's work, was released on July 17 and runs for nearly three hours. The film features Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, and Zendaya, and has garnered significant interest worldwide.
