Chef, restaurateur, and Michelin-star recipient Assaf Granit is planning the next strategic move for his 'Machneyuda' group. Speaking on Tuesday at a capital market conference hosted by TheMarker and Bank Leumi, Granit revealed that the group is in preliminary talks to bring in a partner for its international restaurant division.

The potential partner is the investment arm of the luxury conglomerate LVMH (Louis Vuitton). This move is particularly significant given Granit's established presence in France, where he operates the Michelin-starred restaurant 'Shabour' alongside other luxury dining venues.

'We are looking at investment avenues to strengthen ourselves ahead of a larger move,' Granit explained, describing the discussions with the French conglomerate as a precise business alignment with the worlds of fashion, luxury, and spirits.

Currently, the group's operations span three main sectors: catering for leading high-tech companies such as Wix and Nvidia, restaurant management across Israel, and an international division. Securing financial and prestigious backing from LVMH is expected to provide the Israeli group with a significant springboard for continued expansion overseas.
