Three Drown Off Ashkelon Beach: One Serious, Search Ongoing for Missing
Three men drowned off Delilah Beach in Ashkelon. A 24-year-old is in serious condition, a 17-year-old is lightly injured, and rescue forces are searching for a missing person.
Three men drowned this evening (Friday) in the sea near Delilah Beach in Ashkelon. A 24-year-old man was pulled from the water unconscious and evacuated in serious condition to Barzilai Medical Center, while a 17-year-old boy was evacuated in mild condition. Meanwhile, emergency and rescue forces are continuing their search for another missing person.
Medics and paramedics called to the scene provided medical treatment to the two victims and transferred them to the hospital. One of them stated that upon arrival they found the 24-year-old unconscious near the shoreline and provided advanced resuscitation before transport in an intensive care ambulance.
Police officers and rescue teams have launched extensive searches both at sea and along the coastline to locate the missing individual. Authorities have urged the public to strictly follow instructions from lifeguards and security forces, and to avoid entering the water at uncertified beaches or during dangerous sea conditions.
