-
Expansion of new neighborhoods: Massive construction of modern housing units to meet growing demand.
-
Strengthening older neighborhoods: Massive investment in upgrading public spaces, infrastructure, and public buildings.
-
Consolidating Ariel's status: Strengthening the city as a prosperous metropolis.
Ariel Mayor Yair Shtaboun commented on the milestone:
The final approval of the umbrella agreement is a true historic milestone in the world of settlement. The agreement will allow us to realize the immense economic potential and provide our residents with top-tier education, community, and leisure institutions.
The agreement includes an infrastructure package exceeding 3 billion shekels and aims to grow the city from 22,000 residents to approximately 80,000 residents, with a vision of reaching 100,000 residents.
