The release date for Sean "Diddy" Combs has been postponed once again. According to the U.S. Federal Bureau of Prisons, he is now scheduled to be released on February 20, 2028. TMZ reports that the delay comes in the wake of a brawl in which he was involved behind bars.
Just days ago, Diddy's release date had been moved up from February to January, but that decision has since been reversed. Reports indicate that his release date has fluctuated several times recently: initially set for the summer, it was moved to April, then February, then January, and has now returned to February. TMZ notes that it remains unclear why the date was adjusted so frequently, nor is there an official explanation for the latest change. The previous move to January also followed his transfer to solitary confinement after a prison altercation.
Last December, Diddy filed a request for immediate release, arguing that his sentence was overly harsh. Sean Diddy Combs was sentenced to 50 months in prison after being convicted on two counts of prostitution in October 2025.
