After dismissal from Channel 13, Netali Shem-Tov alleges racism and boycott
Journalist Netali Shem-Tov, currently engaged in a legal battle against Channel 13 News, has spoken out about workplace harassment, claiming she faced discrimination and boycotting.
Media personality Netali Shem-Tov, a former presenter at the Channel 13 news company, recently made headlines following her decision to file a 3.5 million shekel lawsuit against Channel 13 News in the Tel Aviv Regional Labor Court. In her filing, the journalist alleges workplace bullying, wrongful termination, damage to her reputation, and persecution on non-professional grounds, while the channel's management denies the allegations.
Against the backdrop of this legal battle, Netali Shem-Tov appeared as a guest on the podcast "Everything is Open" (HaKol Patuach), hosted by media consultant Avi Shushan, who also serves as a panelist on the television program "The Patriots" on Channel 14. Shushan posted a photo with the veteran media personality and announced that he would soon begin releasing clips from their full interview.
"They called me stupid. I experienced racism and was boycotted," said Netali Shem-Tov in an exclusive interview for Avi Shushan's podcast.
Shushan shared this quote to generate interest and widespread discourse on social media.
Netali Shem-Tov's name also recently surfaced in reports that former minister Gilad Erdan, who is expected to launch a new party soon, had invited the presenter to join him. According to a report on the ynet website, Netali Shem-Tov expressed gratitude for the offer but declined the opportunity to enter politics. It was also learned that Erdan is simultaneously conducting negotiations with Yuli Edelstein, Titi Aynaw, Ayelet Shaked, and others.
