After the dismissals - Mossad officials attack Gofman: "As if he arrived with a note from Netanyahu - 'You serve me'"

In the "Central Edition" it was revealed that the head of the Mossad dismissed two senior officials responsible for the failed plan to topple the regime in Iran. Mossad sources stated that this decision is an attempt to shift responsibility away from the leadership, noting that such actions contradict the organization's DNA.

Sources in the Mossad sharply criticized the head of the Mossad, Roman Gofman, this Thursday evening, following the report in the "Central Edition" that Gofman dismissed two senior officials responsible for the failed plan to topple the regime in Iran.

"While you were busy with Zini, Gofman was hatching a plan in silence: to shirk his responsibility and the Prime Minister's responsibility by dismissing two excellent professionals, experts in their fields, who dedicated their lives to the security of the state," sources in the Mossad told N12.

They questioned: who was supposed to convince Donald Trump, the division heads or Benjamin Netanyahu and Gofman? Who was supposed to prevent the 'don't' from Erdogan to Trump — the division heads or Benjamin Netanyahu and Gofman?

"The employees are in shock, they said. The woman who was dismissed broke every glass ceiling there is; she grew from the bottom to the top of the pyramid. She is an object of admiration for hundreds of employees, especially for the women of the organization. She thwarted more attacks against Jews and Israelis than anyone else in the Mossad."

"Gofman wants them to align only with his line; it is not the DNA of the Mossad to behave like this towards people," they added. "After two months he already knows everyone? It seems he arrived with a note from Benjamin Netanyahu: 'You serve me, keep the failure in Iran away from me and throw the case on the heads of the divisions'."

This evening we revealed in the "Central Edition" that the head of the Mossad, Gofman, decided to dismiss two very senior position holders: the head of the intelligence directorate, who entered her position only last December, and the head of the Iran division.

Security sources report that there was no chemistry between them and Gofman from the beginning, and that the tenure of both is ending by agreement. They will be able to remain in the organization in other positions, which is being framed as part of a reorganization process, but the message is clear.

These are the officials who conceived and drafted the plan for regime change in Iran. These two, whose contribution to the security of the state is invaluable, are leaving their posts. Gofman believes they must pay the price for the failure of the plan that was presented to President Donald Trump but was not implemented on the ground.
