After the conflict with Katz: Bluth changes the restriction conditions for the far-right activist
After the court cancelled the condition requiring Tal Dardik to stay at his mother-in-law's house, the Central Command chief updated the order: the activist will be removed from Judea and Samaria, except for Modi'in Illit, where he will be required to report to the police station twice a day.

The District Court's decision yesterday cancelled the house arrest order at Dardik's mother-in-law's house that was imposed by General Bluth. The IDF states that within the framework of the District Court judges' decision, the position of the security establishment regarding the significant danger posed by Dardik was accepted, while it was determined that the very issuance of the restriction order regarding him was justified, proportionate, and reasonable.
Alongside this, it was determined in the decision that the specific condition in the order regarding the location of his stay at his mother-in-law's house is cancelled, while time was given to amend the order and set new conditions in light of the danger.
Following the court's decision, the Central Command chief decided to update the order's conditions, so that instead of a restriction order to a specific area, Dardik will be removed from the Judea and Samaria region, as he agreed within the framework of the proceedings conducted until now, except for the city of Modi'in Illit, where he will be required to report to the city's police station twice a day. The expiration date of the order remained as it was.
Furthermore, and as was clarified throughout the way, it was conveyed to Dardik that if he agrees to wear electronic monitoring means, the request will be considered favorably for the purpose of easing the conditions that were set.
Yesterday, the appeal of Bluth, who is effectively the military commander in Judea and Samaria, regarding Dardik was rejected. The court clarified that Bluth has the possibility to set new conditions in the restriction and supervision order regarding him. Bluth, as recalled, filed an appeal against the decision of the Judea and Samaria Appeals Committee from the end of July — within the framework of this decision, an appeal filed by the right-wing activist regarding a restriction and special supervision order issued in his regard by the military commander was accepted, and it was determined that even though the issuance of the order was justified in light of intelligence information indicating the danger posed by him to the region, it is not possible to include in it a condition requiring him to stay under house arrest at his mother-in-law's house, in the absence of her consent to his stay in her home.
Defense Minister Israel Katz came out at the beginning of the month against Bluth following his decision to issue an administrative order against Dardik, who is suspected of harming Palestinians, and the IDF's decision to remove him from Judea and Samaria.
Minister Katz, who appeared on Channel 14, attacked Bluth and the Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir:
"I disagree with him - he and the prosecution filed an appeal to the court against the release of the settler Tal Yinon Dardik, contrary to my policy. I also approached the Chief of Staff on this issue. They did it contrary to my position, this is a wrong step. The General must take into account my policy - and I will stand by this."
