Activists from the Noam party arrived yesterday evening (Thursday) at the Torres Smokehouse restaurant in the G complex in Savyon, after the owner of the place was attacked following the blowing of a shofar. A support rally was held at the site, which included the recitation of Selichot, shofar blasts, and dancing to songs of faith.
The event quickly turned into a show of support, as restaurant employees and guests who were present joined in the singing and dancing. The DJ at the venue also participated in the atmosphere and played music throughout the evening.
At the end, the participants gathered for a joint prayer for the well-being and safety of IDF soldiers. The Noam party stated: "The attempt to silence the blowing of a shofar in the State of Israel only proves how important it is to fight for the right of every Jew to live their Judaism in the public sphere. The people of Israel want a Jewish identity, and we will continue to fight for the right to be free to be Jewish, even in the public sphere."
