After disappearing from the screen: Moshik Galamin parts with all his possessions
The beloved TV presenter shared candidly about his personal breaking point, a series of family tragedies, and the radical decision he made to donate all his property and set out on a long journey around the world.

With extraordinary honesty, interior designer and TV presenter Moshik Galamin was a guest on the program "16 in the Morning" with Yael Bar Zohar, sharing the reasons that led him to halt his life, part with all his assets, and set out on a long journey around the world.
Galamin described the breaking point that brought him to the realization that he needed a deep change in his life. He explained that the decision stemmed from accumulated fatigue and a series of difficult events and personal traumas experienced in recent years:
"I said goodbye to my father, I dealt with the death of a friend, and with a cardiac arrest and a very difficult incident that a good friend, Matan Blu, went through."
Alongside the complex events in his personal life, Galamin noted that he was tired of consumer culture and social networks: "I felt tired of capitalism, of what is happening to me on the phone, and of the culture of showing off." Consequently, he decided to take a radical step and part with all the property and belongings he had collected for years, which he described as a "museum" that he completely dismantled. "I decided that I don't want anything, and I donated everything and was left with nothing. And then I decided that it was a good time to go on a journey," he said.
The program's host, Yael Bar Zohar, noted that many had wondered this past year where he had disappeared to after leaving his job and home. As part of his journey, Galamin traveled through many countries—including Greece, Portugal, Montenegro, Albania, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, the USA, and the Caribbean—as he sought peace, simplicity, and a new path.
