The board of directors decided to appoint the VP of Finance and Economics, CPA Victor Weiss, as acting CEO of Mifal HaPayis until a permanent CEO is appointed.
Mifal HaPayis Chairman, Itzik Lary, said:
"I would like to thank Beni from the bottom of my heart for the journey we took together and for his many years of contribution to Mifal HaPayis and Israeli society. Today, Beni concludes a significant chapter of profound public service and impressive leadership. Throughout his tenure, he was a key partner in establishing the organization as a social pillar, a body that leaves a daily mark on activities for the benefit of all Israeli society, and stood as a solid support for local authorities in routine times, and especially in moments of trial and emergency."
Dreyfuss stated:
"I am concluding my role with a sense of satisfaction and great pride for the privilege I was given to lead an organization that works every day for the benefit of Israeli society. Over the years, we worked to expand the social activities of Mifal HaPayis, to reach more communities and populations, and to be true partners of the local authorities.
"In recent years, and especially since the outbreak of the war, we were required to act even under complex conditions and to mobilize quickly for the sake of Israel's citizens. I would like to thank the chairman and the members of the board of directors, the heads of the local authorities, our many partners, and above all, the employees of Mifal HaPayis," said Dreyfuss.
