Apple concluded its September event by unveiling new devices, alongside a notable change for previous-generation models. The company raised the prices of all legacy iPhone models still available for purchase, with every single model seeing a $100 price increase.

The most prominent example is the iPhone 16. While it was sold for $699 last week, its price now stands at $799. Similarly, the iPhone 17E with 256GB of storage, initially launched at $599, now costs $699, and the 256GB iPhone 17 increased from $799 to $899.

The price adjustments also affected the iPhone Air, which received a $100 hike to now cost $1,099 instead of $999.

This broad price increase follows the introduction of the iPhone Duo, Apple's new foldable device, alongside the iPhone 18 Pro models. Notably, the standard iPhone 18 was absent from the lineup, as Apple chose to focus on high-end devices starting at $1,199.
