Anna Aronov on the relationship with Asaf Granit: "It didn't end well"
Since they were one of the most intriguing couples in the industry, the relationship between the two has had its ups and downs. Recently, the relationship soured to the point where they no longer speak to each other. In an interview, she told what really happened there.
If the combination of the names Asaf Granit and Anna Aronov sounds familiar to you, it is not by chance. Beyond the "employee theft" affair by Asaf Granit from the wine bar of Anna Aronov's husband, back in 2017, Aronov and Granit were one of the most intriguing couples in the industry. The two managed a photogenic relationship that lasted several months.
While in the past the two maintained correct relations and even complimented each other here and there at publicized events, associates testify that today a complete rift prevails between the parties. The attempt to harm the family business of Aronov and Algabi turned the nostalgic relationship of 2017 into distant history, and proved once again that in business, as in life, there are apparently no friends (or exes) from the past.
These days, Aronov has returned to the judges' table for the program "Dancing with the Stars". A moment before the live broadcasts, the dancer and judge appeared on "60 Seconds" with Liel Eli on V1 and answered several particularly revealing questions, addressing the storm with her ex Asaf Granit and sharing that the relationship between them did not end on a good note.
Liel Eli directed a question to Aronov: "Did Asaf Granit try to steal employees from you?", and Aronov did not hesitate and answered honestly: "Yes". Eli continued: "Did you part on good terms?", and here too Aronov provided an unequivocal answer: "No".
As recalled, Granit broke his silence and responded to Anna's claims:
"I understand how this thing eventually unfolded and looks, but as I'm saying, I have 32 restaurants in 7 different countries. Do you really think that's how I recruit employees? Give me a little more credit. I haven't spoken to Anna since, but now everyone knows where Anna's place is and that I need employees, everyone won," he concluded.
