Deputy Minister Almog Cohen criticized the opposition's efforts to form a minority government, warning that relying on Arab factions would severely damage public trust. Speaking in an interview with Radio Tzafon 104.5FM, Cohen addressed the political landscape following the elections, emphasizing that the right-wing bloc remains firm on its core values while Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu holds a strong mandate from the Israeli public.

Coalition Dynamics and Opposition Critique

Cohen targeted the opposition's maneuvers, claiming that figures trying to unseat Netanyahu are willing to discard fundamental ideologies. He pointed to potential cooperation with Arab parties, asserting that such a coalition would collapse at the first sign of military escalation in Gaza, given opposing stances on security matters with leaders like Ahmad Tibi and Mansour Abbas.

Election Integrity and Legal System

Addressing allegations of foreign interference and irregularities during the vote, Cohen expressed deep concern over election purity, arguing that narrow margins—such as thousands of votes shifting mandates between Shas and Ra'am—demand absolute transparency. He also criticized the Attorney General's office, accusing it of failing to secure the full truth and acting through a political lens.
