Air Canada Advances Resumption of Direct Toronto-Tel Aviv Flights
Air Canada has announced it will resume direct flights between Toronto and Tel Aviv on November 30, moving up its return from a previously scheduled date in January 2027.
Air Canada is advancing the resumption of direct flights between Tel Aviv and Toronto, announcing that the first flight from Toronto to Ben Gurion Airport will take place on November 30, instead of January 17, 2027, as previously planned. During the winter season, the route will operate four times a week, restoring direct connection between Israel and Toronto for the first time in months.
In March, the Canadian airline suspended its flights to Israel following the regional escalation. Initially, the company planned to resume operations at Ben Gurion Airport in October, but in August it announced an extension of the cancellation until mid-January. Now, however, the carrier has moved up its return to late November.
Air Canada's return joins a growing trend of foreign airlines gradually resuming or expanding their operations at Ben Gurion Airport following flight schedule disruptions caused by the security situation. For instance, Delta Air Lines and United Airlines resumed flights to Israel in early September, ahead of their originally scheduled post-October timeline.
