Ahead of his wedding, boxing star Ahavat Hashem Gordon opens up about love, launching his jewelry brand, and his dreams of reaching the global top. "I'm just trying to calm myself down," he admits, reflecting on his challenging path to success.
On the set of the fashion brand "Mania Jeans," Ahavat Hashem Gordon takes a moment for a sincere conversation about the changes in his life. For someone accustomed to boxing shorts, the transition to a new style has been a refreshing experience: "I was never a fashion person, but now, thanks to Mania Jeans, I have style, and it's fun."
Currently, Gordon is in an exciting phase of life as he prepares for his wedding to his fiancée, Oren. He admits to feeling significant nerves ahead of the big day, though he jokingly notes his involvement in the preparations is minimal: "I just need to show up." He is quick to praise his fiancée, describing her as incredibly calm and easygoing.
The story of their relationship began at a specific moment: "It was at a friend's birthday party. There were many people, but I looked at her and realized: she must be my wife." Since then, he has always strived to give his all for their future together.
Entrepreneurial Spirit
Gordon is actively expanding his business ventures. Together with his partner Yonatan, he launched the jewelry brand "Ahavat Hashem" (Love of God). "Jewelry is something I always planned to do. We create pieces connected to faith, Israel, and Judaism," he shares. Gordon emphasizes that he is personally involved in the design process and even wears a piece he designed himself.
His advice to young entrepreneurs is to seize the moment: "If you are on a roll, take advantage of it to secure the future for your family and those close to you."
The Path to the Top
Gordon has no intention of stopping. His plans include opening the most advanced boxing gym in Israel and further expanding his business empire. He takes a realistic view of his career: "You can't fight forever, so it is important to use your name to build a business."
Reflecting on his childhood, when he would hitchhike to training sessions from the age of seven, Gordon notes that success is the result of hard work: "Blood, sweat, and tears. But I always believed, dreamed, and knew we would reach the goal." Even today, he experiences immense pressure before entering the ring, which he manages through prayer and breathing exercises.
Looking ten years into the future, Gordon sees himself at the top of the UFC, the world's biggest league, and, of course, dreams of a large family. "With God's help, it will all happen," he concludes confidently.
