Just ten days ago, Yael Bar Zohar and Guy Zu-Aretz gave their followers an amusing glimpse into their couple dynamic on the way back from dropping the kids off at summer camp. They laughed, sang, and Guy even celebrated the fact that "mom and dad are going to have a good time." But this past Friday, the couple's vacation ended, and the time for the reunion arrived — and it was far from cynical.
Running, tears, and an endless hug
In a moving video that Bar Zohar uploaded to her Instagram account, the moment of the reunion with the children who returned from summer camp was documented. In the footage, one can see Bar Zohar running enthusiastically toward her son and wrapping him in a long, longing hug. Immediately afterward, she is seen hugging her daughter with the same warmth, in what looks like a touching moment of releasing tension after 10 days of family separation.
Over the video, Bar Zohar shared the feelings that accompanied her during the meeting:
"I didn't get a chance to share the moving meeting with my beloved children after 10 days that they were at the amazing Kimama summer camp. Thank you for the magic with which you surround the children."
"The only way I could really let go"
Further in the touching footage, as she hugs her young daughter and closes her eyes, Bar Zohar added how hard it is for her to let go of maternal control, even when it comes to a familiar and beloved setting:
"There are no words to describe the happiness when you know that your children are in the best hands in the world. This is the only way I could really let go. There is no one like you in the world, thank you."
It seems that the quality and quiet time for Yael and Guy did indeed do its job and gave them an opportunity to recharge their batteries, but as every parent knows — there is no substitute for the moment when the house returns to being full and noisy.
