Discussing her life split between Israel and Germany due to custody arrangements for her daughter Michel with her ex-husband Yosef Swied, Shilon admitted she complicated her life significantly. Juggling a bi-national routine between Berlin, where her daughter's life is anchored, and Israel has proven to be a complex, romantic mistake of her youth. Despite her controlling nature, she must wait until Michel turns 18 to decide her permanent home. To cope with the constant transitions, Shilon relies on her Holocaust survivor grandmother's advice to live day by day. Meanwhile, Shilon has also found love again, confirming her relationship with actor Aki Avni after they connected on Instagram.

Beyond the geographical challenges, Shilon's personal life has taken a bright turn with her new romance. In December, she confirmed her relationship with Aki Avni, following chance encounters on Instagram that blossomed into a public romance in Tel-Aviv.
