Adi Ashkenazi reacts to the drama on Married at First Sight: "Hard to watch"
An unusual confession in the therapy room in front of cameras sparked an online backlash, as Adi Ashkenazi and Shani Malach defended the participant following a deeply personal and hurtful statement broadcast in prime time.
Just when it seemed that Laiki and Tomer had finally found the right path, one television moment changed the entire picture. The couple, who had faced numerous challenges since the beginning of the season, found themselves at the center of an online storm following a direct—perhaps too direct—statement in the therapy room.

Even though Laiki admitted that her attempts to take the lead left her exhausted, it seemed the gaps were narrowing and they were riding a positive wave.
Then came the conversation that shuffled all the cards. In a move that caused great discomfort, Tomer chose to share with the therapist the main problem preventing him from moving forward. The choice to raise such a sensitive and vulnerable issue in front of hundreds of thousands of viewers, rather than in a private conversation off-camera, ignited both users and celebrities. In a post on the official Keshet 12 page, comedian Adi Ashkenazi did not hide her visceral reaction, writing simply: "Hard to watch".

Shani Malach took it a step further and was furious, coming to Laiki's defense decisively: "My heart shrank! For her!". Malach sharply criticized Tomer's choice to share this publicly: "Even if you have something to say, don't say it like that in prime time!". She ended her response with a supportive message to Laiki, wishing her to experience a real and healthy relationship in the future.
Now, with the truth out and vulnerability at its peak, the big question is whether the emotional foundation they built will be strong enough to survive this crisis of intimacy, or if this is the point of no return. With all sincerity, Tomer admitted: "I think I just don't feel that I am attracted enough". He shared that he has been carrying this burden for weeks, clarifying that while he likes Laiki emotionally and doesn't want the relationship to collapse, the lack of change has drained his hope.
