The "Ad Kan" organization, which campaigns against protection rackets, has launched a new anonymous reporting channel called "Kav Ad Kan". The platform allows the public to report extortion, threats, and protection-related activities while ensuring complete confidentiality and anonymity for those afraid to step forward.

For years, criminal organizations have used fear as a core operational method, intimidating business owners, farmers, and contractors. While many pay the price, others possess vital information but remain silent due to fear. The new hotline aims to break this culture of silence.

The hotline caters to four primary groups: individuals who know citizens paying protection money; those currently paying extortionists who wish to break the cycle; people facing direct threats; and anyone holding information that could aid the ongoing struggle.

Ad Kan emphasizes that this initiative complements rather than replaces its open campaign. The organization continues to urge the public to unite and refuse extortion openly. However, the new platform opens the door for those who remain vulnerable or fearful to contribute safely, striking at the core of criminal leverage.

Yariv Ben Ami, founder of Ad Kan, stated that criminals rely heavily on silence. "They know who is paying, who is afraid, and who has witnessed their actions, banking on the fact that no one will dare to speak out. We are here to break that equation," he said.

"From day one, we said: we do not pay, we stand openly and together. But to ensure that more business owners join and that victims or witnesses can share details without fear, we created 'Kav Ad Kan,' a secure place for absolute confidentiality," Ben Ami added.

"To the extortionists, I say: for years you have profited from public silence. Now, even those you think you have terrified will be able to pass on information. You will not know who spoke, but you must realize that people are no longer willing to remain silent," he stressed.
