National Insurance Institute Update: Benefit Payments and Employer Incentives
Recipients of long-term benefits will receive their funds on Tuesday, including disability, long-term care, and survivor benefits. Simultaneously, the National Insurance Institute has announced a 100% waiver on interest and linkage for employers settling debts.

The National Insurance Institute (Bituach Leumi), which assists residents in avoiding financial distress due to factors beyond their control, announces that long-term benefits will be distributed tomorrow, Tuesday. These benefits are paid over a prolonged period, typically without a fixed end date, provided the recipient continues to meet legal eligibility criteria.
Unlike temporary benefits such as unemployment, which are limited in duration, long-term benefits are designed to provide ongoing financial security. These include:
-
Survivor's pension
-
General disability pension
-
Long-term care benefit
-
Old-age pension
In parallel, the institution is launching a special campaign for July and August, offering a 100% cancellation of interest and linkage. Employers who register on the dedicated website can arrange payment plans through their personal accounts and benefit from this one-time reduction.
The campaign excludes fines charged during deduction audits and applies only to eligible employers. This initiative is part of an ongoing effort to improve services. A personal portal for employers in Israel has been enhanced to help users manage routine operations, track information regarding work-related injuries, view correspondence, and submit documents.
