Gabi Kanikovski helped Ferencváros beat Górnik Zabrze 0:1 this Wednesday in the Europa League qualifiers. The Israel national team midfielder started in the lineup, completed 83 minutes in the home game, and will hope to secure advancement to the playoff stage in the second leg, which will be held next week in Poland. Marius Corbu scored the winning goal in the 65th minute.
In the Champions League qualifiers, in a matchup from which Hapoel Be'er Sheva's opponent in the playoff stage may emerge (if they pass Red Star Belgrade, of course), Denmark's Aarhus beat Azerbaijan's Sabah 1:2 in the first of two matches. The second leg will be held next week in Azerbaijan.
Also in the Champions League qualifiers: Fenerbahçe won 0:2 away against Sturm Graz. Talisca scored the opener in the ninth minute, and in the 45th minute, the star signing Mason Greenwood doubled the lead, assisted by Marco Asensio.
