The Sammy Ofer Stadium is one of Haifa's most prominent landmarks. For years, the city has quietly cultivated one of the most fascinating culinary landscapes in Israel.
Between August 11-13, the stadium plaza will turn into the largest food complex in the country. For three days, the festival will host dozens of restaurants, chefs, food trucks, and stalls from across Israel, serving hundreds of dishes at a fixed price of 45 shekels. The variety will be immense, ranging from fine dining and beloved street food to traditional cuisines, international flavors, and decadent desserts.
This inaugural food festival serves as a celebration of the city itself. Alongside culinary stars like Israel Aharoni, Moshik Roth, Guy Gamzu, and Michal Ansky, the event will feature local businesses that define the city's unique identity.
"Haifa has long been a culinary powerhouse. There is no other city in Israel that offers such a wealth of cuisines, cultures, and traditions living side by side," said Haifa Mayor Yona Yahav.
Moshik Roth added:
"This festival is an opportunity to showcase our culinary strength to the entire country. The stadium will become a stage for the best chefs and the wonderful local businesses that have made Haifa what it is today."
Ultimately, this event is about more than just food. It is a celebration of a city that bridges sea and mountain, tradition and innovation, and diverse cultures—Arab, Druze, Asian, and Israeli—at one big table.
Yossi Shalom, Deputy Mayor and Chairman of Atos, noted:
