At 32 - The Israeli model admits painfully: "My partner cheated on me"
Actor and model Omer Dror spoke about the upcoming elections and shared his difficult feelings about the country, alongside a painful revelation about his first relationship that ended on a sour note and affected his life.
Model and actor Omer Dror, who recently made headlines following a viral video in which he was documented confronting ultra-Orthodox protesters, was interviewed by journalist Smadar Shiloni on the ynet website (Yedioth Ahronoth). He shared details about the successful career he has built over the years, the relationships he has managed, and the ex-partner who cheated on him.
Against the backdrop of the public discourse surrounding the upcoming elections and the election campaigns of the parties in Israel, Dror said that he still does not know who he will vote for on election day:
"I don't know who to vote for. I don't believe anyone can change anything here. It feels to me that we, the Jewish people, are a persecuted people and will always be a persecuted people, a kind of maktub (destiny)."
The Israeli star, who has won a series of prominent roles in the world of acting and modeling over the years, admitted that he experienced a personal crisis that affected the way he managed relationships later on:
"My first partner cheated on me, so suddenly I suspected that everyone would be like that. And then I had a relationship that loved me unconditionally, and that made me realize that it is possible otherwise. With every relationship, I am willing to let her break me apart so that I know how to put myself back together."
As recalled, the 32-year-old actor added another campaign to his rich resume, this time in the world of real estate. Omer Dror was chosen to lead the launch campaign of the Almog real estate group for the residential project TELAVIVA. "The choice of Dror as a young Tel Avivian who is settling down and becoming a family man comes at an especially busy time in his career, as he simultaneously stars in a number of prominent productions," stated the campaign organizers.
