The fire that Sasson Efraim Shaulov ignited at the Menora Mivtachim Arena reached a new peak last night. In his fifth concert, a complete sell-out in front of approximately 11,000 enthusiastic spectators, Shaulov proved once again that he is a leading force in the Israeli music industry. The audience enjoyed incredible energy and his greatest hits, alongside a refreshing surprise: a guest appearance by Roi Adam with the hit "Avi HaTachul," while Omer Adam and Sasha Israelovich were spotted in the crowd. Beyond the glittering celebration, an intriguing economic question arises: how much is actually earned from such a complex event, and how are the numbers distributed behind the scenes?

Gross revenue from ticket sales, priced between 199 and 349 NIS, reached approximately 2,970,000 NIS. However, the true financial picture emerges only after deducting direct taxes: 18% VAT (about 453,000 NIS) and commissions for distribution and ticketing systems (about 7%, amounting to at least 150,000 NIS). After these deductions, the net amount remaining to cover costs and profit stands at approximately 2,367,000 NIS.

The production expenses are broad and complex, including:

  1. Arena rental, ushers, security, and licensing: about 220,000 NIS.

  2. Technical production (advanced sound, lighting, LED screens, stage design): about 450,000 NIS.

  3. Royalties to collection agencies (ACUM, Eshkolot, the Federation): about 120,000 NIS.

  4. Artistic envelope (expanded band, backing vocalists, dance troupe, marketing): about 180,000 to 250,000 NIS.

In total, production expenses for a single evening amount to 1,100,000 NIS.

The joint net profit remaining at the end of the evening (before income tax) stands at about 1,500,000 NIS.

This amount is not pocketed entirely by the artist but is divided according to the representation and production contract between Sasson Efraim Shaulov and his management team. These data prove that Shaulov's concert tour is a well-oiled and particularly successful financial machine.
