20% of reservists received notification: You won an apartment at a discount

Out of 25,394 reservists who registered for the 'Apartment at a Discount' lottery, 4,734 received a winning notification this morning—nearly one in five participants. In total, approximately 60% of all lottery winners are reservists.

Following the conclusion of the 'Apartment at a Discount' lottery, which raffled off 7,922 housing units across 19 localities, notifications began reaching the thousands of winners of the 11th program cycle this morning. Winners were notified via personal text messages, email, or through the 'Apartment at a Discount' website. Remaining notifications are expected to be sent out in the coming hours.

A total of 114,848 eligible households registered for the lottery, resulting in approximately 1.7 million entries. 50% of the housing units were allocated to active IDF reservists, with about half of those designated for combat soldiers. Out of 25,394 registered reservists, 4,734 won an apartment, representing nearly one in every five registrants. In total, about 60% of all lottery winners are reservists, illustrating the impact of the policy to prioritize those serving in the reserves.

As previously reported, over 2,000 combat soldiers who served on the front lines won an apartment at a discount. The lottery included units in Rishon LeZion, Ashdod, Beit Shemesh, Rehovot, Hadera, Kfar Saba, Kiryat Gat, Nahariya, Eilat, Ma'ale Adumim, Yehud, Yokneam Illit, Kadima-Zoran, Kafr Manda, Mazkeret Batya, Rechasim, Beit Dagan, Bnei Ayish, and Bat Hefer.

The highest prices for an average apartment (4 rooms, approx. 100 sq. m) were recorded in Yehud (approx. 2.4 million NIS), Kfar Saba (approx. 2.2 million NIS), Rishon LeZion (approx. 2.1 million NIS), and Mazkeret Batya (approx. 2 million NIS).

The most affordable options are located in Kafr Manda (approx. 660,000 NIS), Nahariya (approx. 950,000 NIS), Rechasim (approx. 1.05 million NIS), and Eilat (approx. 1.2 million NIS).

The highest chances of winning were for residents of Bat Hefer, reaching up to 8%. Residents of Yehud and Mazkeret Batya had a winning probability of slightly over 5%. In Kiryat Gat, the chance stands at 4%–4.5%, while in Rechasim, it exceeds the 5% threshold.
